After graduating from the classical animation program at The Vancouver Film School Patti worked as an 'Inbetweener' at The Walt Disney Studios Canada.

Stepping away from animation after a few years to be a full time mom, she spent many hours in the children's section of the library. Painting and drawing with young children, reading age old fairy tales and immersing herself in the
wonderful illustrations found in children's books, planted a seed.

The idea of fusing bigger than life characters and recreating them through collage and assemblage
became a new passion. These days Patti teaches out of the Vancouver Film School in the Classical Animation Program.
